It's ON!!!

The house is officially on the market. Unfortunately,we all know this is perhaps the WORST time to sell your house so we are hopeful but uncertain what the future might hold. But on the chance(pretty please cut me a break) sell I have some great places in Savannah that I would love to call home so time will decide our fate!!! Jake is still struggling without his regular teacher, Ms Sturba, so I for one look forward to ending this school year as quickly as possible though this will be a long 3 weeks for my poor 1st grader!! Please keep your fingers, toes, eyes, and whatever other part you can think of crossed for the Stark 5 because we really need it!!
signed desperate to sell!!!!

Lila in Spring

Well Lila finally got to wear the first little outfit that I bought from Robin of Red Thread Stitches oh probably two years ago. Now that Lila is home I'm amazed how fast that 2 1/2 years went by waiting to bring her home and very glad that it's over with!!!! She loves clothes and is always so excited to get dressed.we completed this ensemble with yellow socks, her black hightops and her clear glitter lip gloss..... and I will have to admit that I have sooooo much fun dressing her and envy her wardrobe!!

Lila's First Easter

Lila loved her first Easter with us. We were in Mt Pleasant and she loved the Easter Bunny, but was sure to let me know that he was wearing shoes! Oh my is she perceptive or what!!!Jake and Cade also had a blast and Cade had informed us before we left Gigi and Pop-pops that he would be staying and asked Jake to take care of Mega Tron( his fish)!! So now he asks me each day after school if we are going back to G&P's yet!!! So here are a few pics!!

STRESSED OUT!!!

I'm feeling a bit stressed right now with so much going on. Scott will be starting work in Miami towards the end of the year which will leave me here, alone with 3 kids for possibly 2 weeks at a time and then he will only be home for the weekend Lets see that is a total of 4 whole days a month with daddy !!! UGH the thought of that hurts my heart and I don't know how it will effect them or me for that matter!!! That in itself is enough to push me over the edge!! I don't handle not knowing or being able to plan my future and right now I have NO clue what the next 6mos to a year will bring( move? Sell the house in this market and loose our rears? be a virtual single mom?move my kids every few years for Scott's job??? can someone please give me the right answers!!!!). My next issue that just arouse was Jake's teacher had her baby and now there is a sub for the remaining 6 weeks!!! That is NOT GOOD NEWS!!(if only MS Sturba could have held on JUST KIDDING) but the sub has no idea about Jake and how Ms Sturba understood Jake and they had a good thing going so now I am very worried about how well he will do or should I say NOT do for the last part of the year!! I'm going to meet with her this afternoon to give her a Jake overview!!! I never thought it would be so hard to be a parent, you just never stop worrying or trying to keep "world" under control!!! If I have to raise the kids alone for an extended period of time I might just go postal!!! Oh.... now I know why I look older every day!!!! Please keep Jake's sub in your thoughts and me in your prayers!!!!

NO April Fool's!!!!

I was so excited to discover a note from Mrs. Beamer( Cade's K teacher) to let me know that "Cade has been doing a super job this week getting his work finished. YIPPEE!" As you might know Cade has had a hard time finishing his work in a timely fashion so this is a big step and we are so proud of him!!!! Way to pull it out the last 9 weeks of school!!! Go Cade!!! Cade is such a smart kid and one who would rather be collecting bugs than coloring in a classroom!!!! Only 12 yrs to go buddy!!!! I have faith we will both make it!!

Spring is in the air!!!

I know I have fallen off the "Blog Wagon" but now that spring is in the air it has brought(a much needed)inspiration back to the keyboard and get to blogging. Well I for one am counting the days until summer break for I feel sick and tired of homework as much or quite possibly more so than the boys( mostly Jake)! Maybe the week of Spring Break will give us the push to make to June 2nd! The boys received their 3 quarter report cards and I was very pleased. Jake got 2 A's, 2 B's and 1C(a 78 so we are going to really work on the one) so we are thrilled with all his hard work and couldn't be more proud. Jake once again has proven that he can make it a typical classroom though it's not easy he does his best!!!!! Cade also did fabulous and his teacher commented on how great he is doing in reading and math!!! Cade says bring on 1st Grade!!! Oh and Lila is doing great at her pre-school they are always so impressed by her anyway. We spend most nights making up homework for little miss scholar so she doesn't ......refuses to be left out! She has also informed me that she wants to go to college then get married! I agreed she should get a degree before she jumps into marriage and I for one am glad that we have this problem out of the way at 3!!! Watch out world Lila (and any man wanting to date/marry her) is taking over!!! We also have 99% finished the basement or we call the Wii room. I am so happy that we invested money into another space to enjoy video games...can anyone taste the sarcasm!!!! But the kids love it down there and my fingers are crossed that it will help us sell the house in the near future( yes I am ready to get back home)!!!!!! And as one can see we have a lot of open space and have Incorporated kids plastic furniture to give it that family friendly look or don't want to spend anymore money on furniture look!!!!

Ski trip

Sorry once again that it has been so long since I last posted. Every Stark is doing well and excited for spring and going to Pop-pop and Gigi's for Easter!!! Scott & I went on a skiing trip with some friends last weekend and had a great time! It has been a while since we have had a "child free" getaway and boy was it a nice break. We add all our fun to Grandma aka Jenny for coming to watch the small Stark's. Lila loves when Grandma comes because she gets her nails done and a fresh set of ears to listen to her talk all day long So we want to say a specail THANK YOU!!to Grandma we love you!!!! Anyway,so we tried snowboarding for the first time and despite the bruises all over me I loved it and hope to try it again one day! The weather was really on the hot side for skiing but I for one was not complaining.
